The Gay Agenda 31

The Gay Agenda is Here TV's long-running anthology of short films, a series that takes a phrase once wielded by the religious right and turns it into a celebration of gay culture. Volume 31 brings together three international shorts. Overthinker, from Argentine writer-director Matías Dinardo, is a wry romantic comedy in which Marco meets the carefree Galo and finds his overactive mind getting in the way of his heart. One Like Him, directed by Caitlin McLeod and set between the UK and Jordan, follows a Jordanian man trying to tell his childhood friend and first love the truth about a moment that changed both their lives twenty years earlier, with the conversation looping into increasingly surreal territory as the words fail him. Metamorphosis rounds out the program with a drama of personal transformation. Together the three films offer a compact tour of contemporary queer storytelling from three continents.
