The Gay Agenda 28

The Gay Agenda takes a phrase coined as a slur by the religious right and turns it into what it should have been all along: a celebration of gay lives and gay storytelling. Each installment gathers a handful of international short films that approach queer experience from a different angle. This edition brings together three: Delta, Kiss Me Softly, and Sift.Simmer.Shred. Spanning drama and romance and featuring performers including Mads Reuther, Ezra Fieremans, Marijke Pinoy, Delcio Ferreira, and William McGeough, the program moves from intimate two-handers to stories of family and self-discovery, giving each filmmaker room to tell a complete story in a compact running time. Watched together, the shorts form a conversation about desire, belonging, and the many forms a gay life can take, offered without apology and with a good deal of heart.
