Queer Family Tree: Ross
Queer Family Tree is a series of short documentary portraits that introduces members of the LGBTQ community one at a time and lets them tell their own stories of finding self-acceptance and self-love. In this installment, directed by Tay Barrett, the subject is Ross, who reflects on the path that brought him to a place of comfort in his own identity. The format is simple and direct: a single voice, a personal history, and the branches of chosen and biological family that helped shape it. One life at a time, the series builds a collective picture of the many routes queer people take toward the same destination.
