Until the Silence

The end of the world has arrived without warning, and in Los Angeles a group of strangers gathers for what they expect to be one last dinner party. Over candlelight and a shared meal, three couples and the guests who drift among them trade stories, confessions and jokes, and as the night deepens, secrets slip out, fears surface and long-hidden truths come into the open. Writer-director Billy Clift leads an ensemble headed by David Millbern, Mel England and Rachel Paulson, with Clinton Haddix and Calix Quan, in a feature that treats the apocalypse less as spectacle than as a pressure chamber for the way people love, lie and reach for one another when time is running out. Intimate and theatrical, Until the Silence is a chamber drama about what remains when there is nothing left to wait for.
