UnderSense is a journey into one woman's mind. Alicia lives in a modern world ruled by confusion, and she has never learned how to truly love. Instead she belongs, as she puts it, to two people at once: a man and a woman, each standing for one half of a divided world, each offering something the other cannot. Simona di Michele's eleven-minute Italian short unfolds as a psychological drama with the tension of a thriller, tracing the pull between Alicia's two lovers as an inner struggle rather than a conventional love triangle. Venezuelan-born model and television personality Aida Yespica stars as Alicia, alongside Gaia Saponaro and Alessandro Mario. Stylish and interior, the film is less interested in who Alicia will choose than in what her inability to choose reveals about desire itself.
