Twin

The vacation season is ending, the beach town is emptying out, and Naomi (Alexa Renée) and Michelle (Branwyn Ritchie) have the rental cottage almost to themselves. Almost. Inside they find something the online listing never mentioned: a second, narrow twin bed, unexplained and oddly placed, that neither of them remembers asking for. What begins as a minor annoyance becomes an intrusion, then a presence, as the couple's off-season getaway curdles into something they cannot rationalize away. Mark J. Parker's twelve-minute horror short works in the classic register of the haunted holiday, trading gore for creeping unease and letting an ordinary piece of furniture carry the dread.
