The Lair: OnlyFangs

Hollywood after dark belongs to two kinds of predators. In this Here TV revival of the cult favorite series The Lair, gay vampires and gay werewolves wage a war for control of the modern city, trading seductions and betrayals under the glow of the Hollywood sign. Director and producer Billy Clift, given free rein to reimagine rather than replicate the original, adds new mythology of his own, including a vampire bloodline with sorcerer powers that reach well beyond fangs and immortality. Emrhys Cooper and Ernest Pierce lead the cast, with Jhon Meiji, Andrew Cereghino, Charlie Harding and David Millbern. Sensual, campy and unapologetically adult, the six-episode 2024 season mixes horror, romance and melodrama in the tradition of the show it resurrects, offering a supernatural soap for grown-up audiences with a taste for blood and moonlight.
