The Immensity

Siblings Paolina and Antonio have one task left: to accompany their friend Giacomo, terminally ill and burning brighter for it, through his final days. In Sabrina Odoguardio's Argentine drama, inspired by the ideas and writings of the Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi, the sickroom becomes a place where wishes, dreams, and reality blur together — and where the fight is not against death but against time itself. With Leandro Piccolo and Emiliano Candau, The Immensity is a small, contemplative film about enormous things: friendship at the edge, poetry as medicine, and the infinite that Leopardi found on the far side of a hedge.
