The Gay Agenda is Here TV's long-running anthology of gay short films, a series that takes a phrase once wielded by the religious right and reclaims it as a celebration of gay culture, love and storytelling. This twenty-fifth collection gathers three shorts that travel from intimate drama to romance. Give Up the Ghost, featuring Jesse Rutherford and Oliver Wellington, opens the program; Guacho, Matias Magnano's Argentine short with Mariano Luduena and Mariano Cornejo, follows two teenage friends who spend everything they have on a single day of freedom in the mountains; and Dog Breath, with Fabien Corbeil, rounds out the set. Together the three films showcase the range of voices working in queer short-form cinema, offering an evening of stories that are by turns tender, surprising and quietly bold, each one complete in a matter of minutes.
