Patrik, Age 1.5

Newly approved for adoption, Göran and Sven have settled into a picture-perfect Swedish suburb and are excitedly preparing for the arrival of their eighteen-month-old son, Patrik. But a misplaced decimal point in the paperwork delivers a very different child to their door: Patrik is fifteen, openly homophobic, and carries a juvenile record. Stuck with each other until the mix-up can be resolved, the reluctant new family must navigate suspicious neighbors, a strained marriage, and their own assumptions about what a father and son are supposed to look like.
