Me & the Girls

Lori Michaels, the self-proclaimed Dyke Diva, has built a stage act on confidence and glamour, but behind the scenes she is reeling from a devastating breakup. With Key West's beloved annual Womenfest approaching, she and her dancers must pull together their Me & the Girls show while Lori tries to keep her own life from coming apart. Director Michael Eldridge follows the troupe, including Daisy Flores, Karen Filos and Lauren Fernandez, through rehearsals and the nervous countdown to opening night. Produced for Here TV, this documentary is a backstage portrait of a chosen family of performers turning heartbreak into a show.
