Living 4 the Weekend: BluVonte

One night in Atlanta, an Uber ride brings together two men who were never supposed to meet. Blu is an aspiring model chasing a career on the strength of his looks and his nerve; Kevontae is an entrepreneur with his own hustle and his own guard up. What starts as a chance encounter becomes a love story that neither can walk away from, even as the world around them, and the histories they carry, threaten to pull it apart. Written, directed by and starring Corey Knott, this feature-length sequel to the series Living 4 the Weekend expands the show's universe of friends who live for Friday night while wrestling with identity, relationships and self-discovery during the week. Adonis Envy, Armani Xzavian, Ryan Kennedy and Rashad Lawrence round out the cast of a 92-minute romantic drama about Black gay love in the South and the risks people take to hold onto it.
