Little Ashes

Madrid, 1922. Against a backdrop of political repression and gathering unrest, three young men arrive at the city's famed student residence and change one another's lives: the shy, eccentric painter Salvador Dalí (Robert Pattinson), the charismatic poet and playwright Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltrán), and the future filmmaker Luis Buñuel (Matthew McNulty). As Dalí and Lorca grow inseparable, their friendship deepens into an intense, unspoken love that neither the era nor their own ambitions will allow them to fully claim.
