Eve (Sophie Delora Jones) has never felt entirely at home among her fiancé's wealthy family. As a mixed-heritage woman from a modest background, she is used to being the outsider at their table, and she has learned to smile through it. What she has not learned to manage is the realization, arriving at the worst possible moment, that she is attracted to women, a truth brought sharply into focus by a kiss with her fiancé's out and confident sister, Olivia, at the hen party the night before the wedding. Joe Solomon's fifteen-minute British short plays the crisis for both comedy and feeling, following Eve through a day meant to be the happiest of her life as she tries to reconcile the person everyone expects her to be with the one she is finally admitting she is.
