Cinema Conversations

Producer and Here Media co-founder Stephen P. Jarchow sits down for extended, one-on-one conversations with the people who make movies happen. Each episode is built around a single guest, from directors and producers to actors, writers and comedians, and gives them room to talk about how they got into the business, the projects that shaped them and the creative choices behind the work. Guests across the run include filmmakers Angela Robinson and David DeCoteau, producer Howard Rosenman, actor and comedian Jason Stuart, radio host Stephanie Miller and writer Bruce Vilanch. Directed by John Cleland, the series favors the relaxed, unhurried tone of a real conversation over the sound-bite rhythm of a press junket, with a particular interest in the LGBTQ+ voices and independent producers who rarely get this much airtime. Cinema Conversations ran for three seasons on Here TV between 2011 and 2017.
