Blood-Red Ox

Amir and his boyfriend Amat travel to Bolivia for what should be a pleasant working visit to the rain forest. Then Amat begins seeing things — chief among them a giant blood-red ox that no one else can see — and his grip on reality starts to slide. As paranoia spreads from one man to the other, Amir realizes he can trust nothing and nobody, possibly including himself. Rodrigo Bellott's psychological horror film drags a relationship into the jungle and lets the jungle in: hallucination, folklore, and dread braided into a fever dream where love and madness share a face.
