Bi-Coastal

Fledgling filmmaker Jordan flies from Los Angeles to New York to reclaim a debt from his eccentric friend Tyler, expecting a quick trip and a check. Instead, the weeks stretch into months, the money never materializes, and Jordan's Hollywood ambitions are gradually eclipsed by late nights, bad decisions, and an unplanned exploration of his own identity and desires. Written and directed by Brian Follmer, who also co-stars, Bi-Coastal is a loose, funny, and surprisingly tender comedy about the friendships that derail our plans and the versions of ourselves we discover when we stop trying to control the story. Adam Leotta and Leelee Stranger lead an engaging ensemble in this portrait of two cities, two friends, and one very overdue debt.
