Filmmaker Keren Aronoff turns her camera on the downtown New York creative scene in this documentary series, following artists, performers and nightlife figures through the rhythms of an ordinary day that is anything but ordinary. Rapper Cazwell, nightlife icon Amanda Lepore, Bill Coleman and photographer Marco Ovando are among the personalities who open their studios, dressing rooms and social circles, offering an intimate look at how a community of queer and queer-adjacent artists lives, works and performs in the city. Produced for Here TV in 2012 and unfolding in hour-long episodes, the series captures a moment in New York's underground culture with candor and affection, treating its subjects' vibrant lifestyles as both spectacle and daily labor.
