On his sixteenth birthday, Australian teenager Otto comes out as gay, and the world he thought he knew rearranges itself overnight. His dad is instantly supportive, his mom struggles to find the right words, and the bullies at school waste no time making him a target. But the reaction that frightens Otto most is the one he hasn't seen yet: how his best friend Max, the secret object of his crush, will respond.
